Donnie's father, away on business for much of the film. It is his gun Donnie follows his liquid spear to, and uses to kill Frank.
Eddie is amused by his son, defends him against Kitty Farmer, and almost hits Roberta Sparrow with the car. The gun in his closet is the metal instrument of the film's second death. His trip to New York is why Rose, not he, is home to be sent to Los Angeles.
