Donnie's older sister, Frank's girlfriend, newly admitted to Harvard. The Halloween party she throws on October 29 is where the final night begins.
Elizabeth's acceptance to Harvard is the excuse for the party; the party is why Frank is in a rabbit costume, why Donnie and Gretchen are together, and why the house is full when Donnie realises the countdown has hours left. In the Primary Universe she stands on the lawn, looking at the engine in her brother's bedroom.
